3R's Fashion Show 2013

Trewern

We have had a really fun first day, it's been pretty cold but the children have enjoyed their activities.  They have worked well in their teams and have encouraged each other to participate in the challenges set.  Today's activities were mountain walking, waterfall walking and caving.

I would like to say a big well done to Adam V and Adam S as they showed outstanding teamwork skills, encouraging and supporting a teammate on the mountain walk.

Dear Parents,

Just to let you know that we have arrived safely in Trewern.  The journey went quickly and the children behaved superbly on the coach.

They have unpacked their suitcases, made their beds and are now going for a walk around the grounds.

We will try our best to keep you updated with photos of their activities.

Year Three's Easter Play

Year Three finished the Spring term on a high with a week of performances of their Easter Play called 'Good News'.  Thankyou to all of the chidlren for their hard work, learning song words, learning lines, actions for the songs and making props. Thankyou to all of the adults who helped too in the lead up to our performances.  It was a huge success due to everyone's efforts.

Cooking during 'Maths Week'

The whole school made cookies during maths week.  3R then worked out how much it had cost to make them and how much we should sell them for.  We made a profit of about £8!

Meet Goldie!

3R have a new addition to the class-our pet fish called Goldie!  He seems quite happy swimming around in his tank in the corner of our classroom!

Year 3 Trip to the Natural History Museum

Year 3 travelled to the Natural History Museum at the end of the Spring term.  We have been learning about Dinosaurs for many weeks and it was great to see how excited the children were looking at the Dinosaur exhibit.  The children were very well behaved-even when we met the T-Rex!  He didn't scare us!
