Poppyline Adventures...
Yesterday we went from Sheringham railway station to Holt railway station by steam train. We were evacuees for the day and were terrified when we thought that there were unexploded bombs along the line. We had a great time waiting to be collected by our families from the village making our lunch, digging for victory and taking part in a gas mask drill. We found out a lot about the differences between war time life in a city compared to the countryside.

The Poppy Line was very good and it certainly took you back in time , me and my friends enjoyed it lots!
ReplyDeleteI remember when i did this in year six (2009). Good to see Rush green are still doing it. Great fun, even if a jam and carrot sandwich did taste a little odd.
